Dresden
Dresden is the capital city of the German Federal Free State of Saxony, one of the German federal Länder. It is situated in a valley on the Elbe River. The Dresden conurbation is part of the Saxon Triangle metropolitan area. Sixty three percent of the city is comprised of green areas.

Airport
Dresden has an airport located approximately 30 minutes by car from the city center.
Taxi
A taxi ride from the airport to the castle Eckberg costs about 20 €.
Weather
Dresden has a continental climate. The average temperature in early June is 18 °C. Please take an umbrella with you.
